Hi! I’m Fr. Michael Bialorucki. I was ordained on June 27, 2020 and have been serving at St. Paul the Apostle Parish since July of that year. I am one of four children, with two older sisters, one older brother, and a younger brother. My parents both live in Sandusky, which is where I grew up, with Holy Angels as my home parish. I received a Bachelor’s of Education from Bowling Green State University and did my seminary formation at Saint Meinrad Seminary in St. Meinrad, IN, a small place in the middle of nowhere between Louisville, KY and Evansville, IN. It is operated by an order of Benedictine Monks whose monastery is on the campus – so I benefitted from the spirituality taught by the monks.

Due to my time in Meinrad, I have a great devotion to St. Meinrad, the patron of hospitality, who was martyred by two thieves he welcomed into their home knowing their intent. My hope for the Church is that we are always a place where people feel welcomed and loved, no matter who they might be or how they struggle to live out their faith.

When I have free time – which is rare – I enjoy reading, mostly fiction. I also enjoy watching sports, playing a few, such as golf, and exercising. One thing I love to do is cook, and try to spend a couple nights a week in the kitchen cooking up new dishes or trying my hand at old favorites. For this reason, I love the spring and autumn seasons with a good grill going, a fire on the fire pit, and a beautiful relaxing evening on the deck.
