Religious Education

Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)

St. Jerome offers Religious Education classes to students who do not attend Catholic grade schools.  As Catholic parents, we have the responsibility and privilege of evangelizing our children.  We, your parish, have a special role in helping you raise your children as strong, well-formed Catholic young people.  We count on your child’s faithful attendance every year from Grades 1 through 8.

Before a student can receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, or Confirmation, they must be enrolled in Religious Education classes for one year prior or have attended a Catholic school the year before.

PREP at St. Jerome is offered to children in Grades 1 through 8 on Sunday mornings from September to May.  Religious Education classes will be held on Sundays (after the 10 a.m. Mass) at 11:15 a.m. and will end at 12:15 p.m.  It is also suggested that each Religious Education Student attend mass with their family.

Classrooms for Grades 1 - 5 are in the Community Center and Grades 6 - 8 will meet in the meeting rooms near the Parish Hall.
